Robert Hasegawa

I am a digital designer, working mainly in Illustrator and Photoshop. I love designing things that give a sense of atmosphere and aesthetic, whether that be a 3D space to walk around in, a website or an illustration.

I am currently teaching myself the basics of javascript and C#, with hopes of creating more interactive and fresh experiences.

Science Island: An Online Educational Game

Science Island is a project developed in the Digital Media Design field at Swinburne University. The idea is to create more interest in STEM subjects in children aged 8 to 12 years old. The players must fix the run-down island and restore the theme park by answering STEM related questions and other activities. I helped develop the look and mechanics of the island, in order to create a more immersive experience.

Logo Designs

Some logo designs done throughout the years.

Ambient Looper: Music For Airports

This project aims to bring Brian Eno’s classic album ‘Ambient 1: Music for Airports’ to its original goal, a generative album that composes a random piece of music from a set of melodies. My version is still quite simple, and there are future plans to add more layers to the music. Until then, enjoy the relaxing piano music!

Space Road: Illustration to Stop Motion

This is a stop motion animation test, to see how well my drawings could translate into the medium. The gallery shows the planning and testing done for the animation.
